KarjatStay.com Refunds & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This Refunds & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for reservations made through KarjatStay.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Policy applies to reservations made for stays at accommodations listed on our platform, including but not limited to farmhouses, resorts, and villas (collectively, “Accommodations”).

2. Cancellation by Guest

• Initiating a Cancellation:

  • You may cancel your reservation at any time by:
    • Logging into your KarjatStay.com account and cancelling the reservation online.
    • Contacting us via email at info@karjatstay.com or by phone at +91 8691010112.
    • Providing your reservation confirmation number in all communication.

• Cancellation Fees:

  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on the cancellation timeframe:
    • More than 30 days before check-in:
      • You will receive a full refund, minus a % agreed upon from time to time cancellation fee.
      • Note: The Cancellation Fee % may vary depending on the Accommodation Provider’s individual policies.
    • Between 15 and 30 days before check-in: You will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
    • Less than 15 days before check-in: No refund will be issued.

• Early Departures:

  • If you depart from the Accommodation earlier than your scheduled check-out date, no refund will be provided for unused nights.

3. Cancellation by Accommodation Provider

• Circumstances for Cancellation:

  • The Accommodation Provider may need to cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:
    • Overbooking
    • Unforeseen maintenance or repairs
    • Natural disasters
    • Acts of God
    • Government orders or restrictions

• Accommodation Provider Responsibilities:

  • If the Accommodation Provider cancels your reservation, we will:
    • Use our best efforts to find you comparable alternative accommodations at a similar price.
    • Offer a full refund of the total booking amount if a suitable alternative cannot be found.

• Notification:

  • You will be notified as soon as possible if the Accommodation Provider needs to cancel your reservation.

4. Exceptions

• Non-Refundable Rates:
  • Some special offers or rates may be non-refundable. These restrictions will be clearly stated during the booking process.
• Holiday Bookings:
  • Reservations made during peak seasons, holidays, or special events may have stricter cancellation policies.
  • These policies will be outlined during the booking process and may vary depending on the Accommodation Provider.
• No-Shows:
  • If you fail to check in by the designated check-in time and do not notify us in advance, you may be charged a no-show fee, which may be equal to the full booking amount.

5. Refund Processing

• Timeframe:
  • Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 business days.
• Method of Refund:
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the reservation.

6. Accommodation Provider Policies

• Individual Policies:
  • Please note that individual Accommodation Providers may have their own specific cancellation policies.
  • These policies will be made available to you during the booking process and will be incorporated into this Policy.
  • In case of any conflict between this general Policy and the specific Accommodation Provider’s policy, the more restrictive policy will prevail.
