Headline: Midnight Cancellation, Overbooking Scam & Extremely Rude Behaviour
This was one of the worst and most stressful experiences we have ever faced.
We had a confirmed booking for 15 people and had already paid an advance. However, the owner irresponsibly accepted another group of 18 people for the same time slot. This means they were trying to accommodate 32 people in just 4 rooms, which is completely unrealistic and clearly shows overbooking for profit without any planning.
We reached the farmhouse at around 11:20 PM, expecting a smooth check-in. Instead, we were shocked to find out that our confirmed booking was cancelled on the spot and given to another group. At such a late hour, this created a serious problem for us as a group, with no immediate alternative available.
When we tried to discuss and resolve the issue, the owner/staff behaved in an extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional manner. Rather than taking responsibility for their mistake, they started arguing and blaming us, which made the situation even worse.
To add to the frustration, they initially refused to return our advance payment, and we had to argue for a long time just to get our own money back. This entire situation caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and wasted our time and effort.
This experience clearly reflects:
-Overbooking and mismanagement
-No respect for confirmed bookings
-Rude and unacceptable customer behaviour
-Lack of basic professionalism and accountability
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place. It is not reliable, not safe (especially at night), and not trustworthy at all. Booking here can completely ruin your plans.
Everything about the day was simply perfect. The food was excellent—fresh, delicious, and served with great care. The service truly stood out, with the staff being extremely courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
What made the outing even more enjoyable were the sports and recreational activities. The facilities were well-maintained, and there was something fun for everyone, making the day lively and memorable.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place for picnics, family outings, and group events. Looking forward to visiting again!
We recently visited Bollywood Villa, Karjat for a team outing, and it turned out to be a truly refreshing experience. We coordinated our booking with Joy, who ensured everything was smoothly arranged.
I must say, the property is incredibly peaceful, clean, and perfect for a one-day getaway to escape daily routines. Nestled amidst the mountains, it offers a serene environment ideal for de-stressing and detoxing.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very cooperative and attentive, making our stay even more comfortable.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nearby getaway in Karjat to relax and unwind.
I recently booked 2 rooms for ₹10,000 with meals included at your resort. However, my experience with the food service was extremely disappointing.
At the time of booking, no one informed us about the lunch timing. Since the resort is far from the station, we arrived late and unfortunately missed lunch. Despite this, the staff did not make any effort to arrange or compensate for the missed meal.
Later, we were served high tea, but it was very disappointing. The bhajias were not good in taste and were even served without chutney, which shows poor service standards.
At dinner, the situation became worse. The non-veg chicken was raw, and the rotis were extremely thin and dry like papad and did not seem fresh. I immediately complained to the staff and they also saw the issue themselves, but no action was taken and nothing was rearranged for us.
Overall, the meal service was extremely poor and the money paid for meals was completely wasted. I request you to look into this matter and provide a suitable resolution.
